May 22 To Be Tolerant To ItWent to the cinema and watched The Da Vinci Code at last. Not so bad while not so good either. Of course, as a film, you could not count that it SHOULD be the same or as good as the original novel, for it has to be restricted by the length of a film. Correspondingly, the illustration or explanation to symbols and artworks is extremley limited.
As for the presentations of actors, I don't think Tom Hanks is the only one who can play Robert Langdon. On the contrary, I think he is not suit for this character. My ideal actor is Harrison Ford. Knowledgeable, gentle, intelligent, humour... But unfortunately, he is too old to get this chance.... On the other hand, I quite enjoy the performances of two actors from Britian, Ian McKellen and Paul Bettany. That's why I prefer British actors, hehehe...
Generally, I think we should be objective on this film. As a mean of entertainment, we need not to be too exigent to a film which is based on such a FAMOUS~~ novel. It's too hard for all the crew to perform it perfectly, isn't it? If you are not satisfied with the film, just pick up the book and read it through again.
